A decorative and practical piece for your sewing space, this framed piece has 3 large divided pockets for storing your sewing essentials. Stand the finished piece on your sewing table or hang it on a wall, keeping your tools and notions visible and close at hand.
Sew Tidy uses 4 fabrics, 2 skeins of DMC and 2 skeins of variegated thread. The wreath panel combines embroidery with semi-detached applique leaves and a dimensional fabric flower.
The leaves and flower are made with double-sided fabric and are only partly stitched down, allowing them to sit up from the background fabric. This adds texture and dimension to the design.
